Personal life
Dreshaj was born in present day Montenegro, and moved to the U.S. at age 12. She began her career as a model at age 17, upon being discovered by a photographer. She is in a relationship with Albanian singer Shpat Kasapi,[3] a finalist in Festivali i Këngës 47.[4] Dreshaj currently lives in Michigan with her mother, brother, and sister.

Dreshaj, who stands 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in), competed as one of 20 finalists in Miss Universe Kosovo 2011, held in Pristina on January 15, 2011,[5] where she obtained the Miss Press award[6] and was crowned Kosovo’s official representative to the 2011 Miss Universe pageant,[7] broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.[8] She was a top 16 semifinalist.
